ResolutionsEstablished in 1974 by the N.C. General Assembly, the Western North Carolina Public Lands Council is a citizens' group that works to bridge the interests of public land stewards and managers with those of the communities bordering our public lands. The Council provides a forum and information source for citizens, agencies and local officials in the region, and may advocate with officials on specific actions benefiting WNC's public lands and communities. Such advocacy may be in the form of letters of support, comments on NEPA-related documents or official resolutions such as the ones posted here.
